AONB invite nature lovers to visit team’s new base

The Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team has moved offices and is inviting locals and volunteers to come take a look at their new base.

This spring, the Cannock Chase AONB team moved from their offices in the grounds of Shugborough Park Farm to a new office in Stafford’s Civic Centre.

To let the local community and AONB volunteers know about the office move, the team is inviting everyone to pop in for tea and cake on Wednesday 16 May 2012, between 10am and 2pm.

The drop-in session will be a chance to see the team’s new base, and to find out more about the work the Cannock Chase AONB team does.

Emma Beaman-Green, Assistant AONB Officer, said: “We wanted to show people round our new office so they know where to find us, that’s why we’re inviting everyone to come along to our office-warming tea party! All are welcome for tea and cake, and it will also be an opportunity to talk to us about the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.”

The team’s new address is: Cannock Chase AONB Unit, Stafford Borough Council, Civic Centre,Riverside,Stafford,ST16 3AQ.
