Located on the edge of Hednesford Hills, the Museum of Cannock Chase illustrates the rich industrial heritage of the area, and the social and domestic life of times past.
Trace the history of Cannock Chase in our new Local History gallery. Visit our Coal Mining Gallery to discover how coal shaped our area. Find out how local families lived in our Victorian Miner’s Cottage gallery, and our 1940s Room. Our History of Toys and Coal Face galleries also provide an exciting
interactive experience for families!
2010 is the Museum’s 21st birthday and the team has lots of events and exhibitions to celebrate the Museum’s coming of age, including Family Fun Days in August and December! We also have an exciting temporary exhibition programme. Please call us for an Exhibitions & Events Diary or visit the website www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/museum
